This book had humor and heart. San's moral awakening at the end of the book kind of transforms him into the zen kid he was pretending to be at the outset!
I liked that this book was funny, but also that it dealt with real problems. It wasn't the kind of book where you cried at the end, but it still dealt with problems that kids really have.
I'm getting my own rock to meditate on!
